Relationship Assessments

I start all couples work with a structured relationship assessment. It’s required for all couples I work with — because in my experience, it’s the single most effective way to build clarity, momentum, and a meaningful plan for change.

The process includes:

  • A joint intake session

  • A split session (one-on-one time with each partner)

  • A feedback session to review your assessment results

  • A formal relationship assessment (either Gottman or Prepare/Enrich) taken between Sessions 1 and 2

This approach gives us a clear picture of what’s working, where you’re getting stuck, and what would actually help you move forward — without spending months in guesswork.

    Gottman Relationship Checkup

Built on decades of research into what makes relationships thrive (or fall apart), the Gottman assessment helps us explore how you manage conflict, build trust, express affection, and support each other. It’s especially helpful for long-term couples and those facing recurring patterns.

    Prepare/Enrich

This trusted tool is ideal for dating, engaged, or newly parenting couples. It offers insight into communication, stress, spiritual beliefs, finances, parenting expectations, and more.
